This simple little attachment clips to the SEEP motor and holds the rod in place and stops it from dropping from one side to another while you are trying to offer it up under the baseboard and get it in to the tiny hole in the tie bar.
Once you have fixed the point motor inplace remove the clip and use it on the next point motor.
