The Acrylic "Aqua" Paint is diluted with Revell "Color Mix" - especially useful when airbrushing.
Thinner and drying retarder in one !!! Basically, the Revell Aqua Color paints can be diluted with water to make them sprayable. However, the dilution with Aqua Color Mix has two advantages: On the one hand, the drying of the paint is delayed: this prevents too rapid drying of the paint in the spray gun and on the substrate. On the other hand, this thinner also optimizes the splash results on the model. Especially when using matt and semi-matt shades, Aqua Color Mix reduces the unwanted edge escape when applying paint.
Recommended mixing ratio: 3-4 parts of color to 1 part Aqua Color Mix. Since the mixing ratio is heavily dependent on the spray gun used and the working pressure of the compressor, please first dilute less and test the color. If the spray gun spits or if the paint dries too quickly on the model (rough surface), just dilute a little bit more.
